Sångerskan Figen kommer från Konya i Turkiet och representerar en västlig tradition av kurdisk musik. Musikalisk ledare Ardeshir Zebardast kommer från Kurdistan-Iran. På fiol och kemanché möter vi Brusk Zenghane och en medmusikant samt en ung tjej på tombak.
