Podesk turns video files into segmented video using its advanced built-in Scene Detection utility.

This video shows how Podesk analyse video footage (on the left side) and detected scenes (on the right side). You may notice that fades and fades to black scenes are not detected. Also it can not detects scenes that are shorter than 2 seconds.
